Hybrid Woven Fabric

Xcellent Composites uses high-strength imported carbon fiber yarns, blended with colored aramid fibers, high-strength polyethylene fibers, glass fibers, basalt fibers, and thermoplastic fibers. These are woven using high-speed rapier looms to produce wide high-strength hybrid fabrics. We offer various fabric structures including plain weave, twill weave, jacquard, and satin weave. Additionally, we combine carbon fibers with other types of fibers such as aramid fibers, dyed Kevlar fibers, and dyed polyester fibers to enhance mechanical performance and create a unique appearance.

Features of Hybrid Woven Fabric

01. Appearance Enhancement: The use of hybrid woven fabrics greatly enriches the color and texture of the fabric surface, with clear patterns and bright colors.
02. Cost-Effectiveness: By interweaving different high-performance fibers, it is possible to reduce material costs while maintaining high performance.
03. Improved Permeability: For example, the permeability of glass-carbon hybrid woven fabrics lies between that of pure glass fiber and pure carbon fiber fabrics, showing advantages in resin flow, which helps improve the molding process and product quality.
04. Processability: The processability of hybrid woven fabrics is superior to that of single fiber fabrics, possibly because the combination of different fibers optimizes the handling characteristics of the fabric.
05. Balanced Mechanical Properties: Hybrid woven fabrics maintain high performance while reducing costs, providing a good balance between cost and performance.
