Aramid Fiber Unidirectional Fabric

Aramid fiber unidirectional fabric is a high-performance composite material reinforcement fabric, consisting of aramid fibers arranged in a single direction and woven with thermosetting yarns. This structural design provides the aramid unidirectional fabric with extremely high strength and rigidity in the direction of fiber alignment, while maintaining a certain degree of flexibility perpendicular to the fiber alignment direction. Aramid fibers themselves possess excellent tensile strength, good heat resistance, high chemical corrosion resistance, and outstanding impact resistance, making unidirectional fabric particularly ideal for applications requiring high loads in specific directions. Our aramid fiber unidirectional fabric is mainly woven with 3000D as the raw material, with standard specifications such as 280G, 415G, and can also be customized according to customer requirements.

Features of Aramid Fiber Unidirectional Fabric

 

01. Aramid unidirectional fabric has excellent mechanical properties and can be effectively applied in various forms of structural reinforcement, including bending resistance, shear resistance, compression resistance, fatigue resistance, earthquake resistance, wind resistance, crack and deflection control, and increasing structural ductility.

Aramid unidirectional fabric possesses excellent chemical stability, providing reinforced and repaired structures with strong resistance to acid, alkali, salt, ultraviolet erosion, and waterproof capabilities; it has sufficient ability to adapt to temperature changes. It is easily fireproofed after the application of fireproof coatings. It significantly enhances the structure's adaptation to harsh external environments, prolonging the structure's lifespan, surpassing conventional methods like steel wrapping.
03. The material's lightweight and high strength allow for structural reinforcement without increasing volume, with the additional structural weight being negligible. This is unattainable with traditional methods.
04. The construction process of aramid unidirectional fabric is simple, can be operated with small electric tools, and can be implemented in limited workspaces where traditional techniques are impractical. Moreover, it progresses quickly, has short construction periods, and can operate in conditions with continuous traffic vibrations. This greatly reduces construction downtime, operational halts, or power outages, significantly lowering economic losses and societal impacts.
05. Due to the material's flexibility, it adheres easily to the structure's shape without altering its appearance after reinforcement, allowing for painting in desired colors without revealing reinforcement traces.
